Please PRAY...

On the last day at worship Rev. Enoch Hall shared with us the things that we should continue praying for not just Chibougamau, Oujé-Bougoumou and Mistissini but also for ourselves and where we are.

PRAY FOR OPENED DOORS FOR THE GOSPEL

2 Corinthians 2:12 "Now when I went to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and found that the Lord had opened a door for me..." 1 Corinthians 16:9 "...because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me."

What to pray & How to pray:

1. Pray for opened doors for the preaching of the Gospel. (Colossians 4:3 "And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.")
2. Pray that the Word of God may have free course. (2 Thessalonians 3:1 "As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.")
3. Pray for the utterance to speak boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel. (Ephesians 6:19 "Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel...")
4. Pray for deliverance from unreasonable and wicked people. (2 Thessalonians 3:2 "And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith.")

We are all working together as co-workers in God's Kingdom! 1 Corinthians 3:7-9 "7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building."

Let's lift up these things and each other in the hands of God!

Praise the LORD! We got back to the city at about 12am this year and it's the earliest record so far! Thank you for your prayers! Please stay tuned for more pictures and updates. Shalom!

Another year of blessings!

Praise the LORD for another fruitful and blessed missions trip! We just left the Bible School on our way home! Thank God for beautiful weather! Please pray for our safety. Thanks! ^_^

Super Saturday!

Praise God for sunny weather! Today is the last day in Mistissini and we finished off with super Saturday! We filled the church with games and prizes for the kids to play and win, and the pre-teens also came to hang out and play as well. Thank you for praying for us and the children throughout the week! We are hoping to continue the relationships next year!

Tomorrow, we will be leaving to head back home at approximately 11am after 8am service at the lodge. Please pray for our safety as we travel back! Another summer in Chibougamau has passed, we are excited for what the Lord has planned for next year! If you would like to join our team next year, please let us know!  

Dinner with the Grand Chief

Today, Grand Chief Cooncome, Harry Bosum and their respective family members came to the bible school (lodge) to have dinner. It was such an honour as he is the chief of all 9 native reserves in the James Bay region of Quebec. Praise God for an opportunity like this that allows us to develop better relationships with the native people.

Thanks to the kitchen team who prepared sushi and chicken for them to enjoy, as well as the children and youth who played with their children during their visit!
