Ready to Go!

The 2015 JSTM team!

Praise the LORD for another year of opportunity to learn and serve in Christ Jesus with the Joint Short-Term Missions Team! Together with 40+ brothers and sisters from 14 churches, we're blessed to be going to Chibougamau, Quebec to serve the Canadian natives from Ouje-Bougoumou and Mistissini with the love and truth of God. We had our commissioning service on Monday July 13th with the encouragement from Pastor Kun Yu Choi 蔡瑾瑜傳道 of Toronto Lock Tao Christian Church and the support of a few family members.

Our Mission ~ Matthew 28:19-20

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Our Practice ~ Ephesians 4:2-3

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

We'll be leaving this coming Friday July 24th at about 8:30pm and it'll take us about 15 hours of driving with a few breaks in between to get there.

Prayers needed:

• Safety and health
• 5 ministries: Children, Kitchen, Preteens, Renovation, Worship
• Unity in Christ serving with one another and a humble heart to learn
• Hearts of the children/preteens whom we serve at the week of Bible camp as well as anyone else with whom we cross path
• Protection from the Devil as this is a spiritual warfare

Thank you! ^_^ Come back and check out our updates from time to time and please continue to pray for us. Will keep you posted. To God be the glory!
