Joint Short-Term Missions: Tuesday

Happy August 1^st! Time truly flies as we’re in the month of August in 2018 already! We’ve also gone through two days of our children & preteens camps but actually half of our missions trip has passed by already. This missions trip is “work” but brothers and sisters feel it’s also like a retreat being away from the city and in the nature which naturally draws us closer to God and to each other.

Praise & Prayer:

We’re so thankful that the weather has been so great that the roof job has been finished! The renovation team will be working on windows and some other fixes. Children & Preteens ministries will continue today.
Group devotions on Romans 12:1-4 "1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. 3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you."
Prayer: “Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.”

Some highlights from Tuesday:

Most of the girls and ladies on the team had to tie a bun and we just found them so cute! And some of the native girls saw them like this they wanted to tie their hair into a bun too!
