God is GOOD, ALL the Time!

Praise the LORD for the blessing and opportunity to serve the natives in Christ Jesus with the Joint Short-Term Missions Team! Together with 36 brothers and sisters from various churches, we'll be going to Chibougamau, Quebec and Ouje-Bougoumou. with the love and truth of God.

2017 Quebec JSTM Team

God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called. This was done in one of the houses at the Bible School (the lodge we are staying in Chibougamau) by our renovation team a few years ago. They were running out of the tiles of the same colour but God gave them wisdom to finally finish the flooring beautifully with a cross! It reminds us that we are all sinners and weak and limited and it's a blessing that God uses each one of us accordingly because He knows us and loves us and calls us. God is the One completes us for He doesn't call the qualified but qualifies the called. Our responsibility is to respond to Him with love for Him and others.

We had our commissioning service on Monday July 10th with the exhortation from Pastor Kun Yu Choi 蔡瑾瑜傳道 of Toronto Lock Tao Christian Church. We are encouraged to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit and to serve according to our gifts in Christ Jesus to give glory to God and to equip one another.

Our Mission ~ Matthew 28:19-20

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Our Practice ~ Ephesians 4:2-3

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
